Description of Chemical Yarn:
The chemical Yarn is the general name of yarn, could be made into all types of textiles.Yarn is one kind of filament fibers, often used in textiles production, sewing, crocheting, knitting, weaving, embroidery and rope production.
Yarn quantity is usually measured by weight in ounces or grams. In United States, Canada and Europe, yarn balls for handcrafts are sold by weight. Commonly are 25g, 50g, and 100g skeins. Some companies also have accurate common sizes in three-ounce, four-ounce, six-ounce, and eight-ounce skeins. These are all measured in a standard temperature and humidity, because yarn can absorb moisture from the air. The actual length of the yarn contained in a ball or skein vary with the fiber weight and the strand thickness.
Yarn may be used without dyeing, or dyed with natural or artificial dyestuff. Most yarns have a standarded hue, but there is also a wide selection of variegated yarns:
